Disc Golf

I've been meaning to get this entry about disc golf up for a while, but haven't had a chance, so here it is. Meg, Tom, Dean and I played disc golf the Sunday morning of the Packers game that we lost on Favre's fumble right at the end of the game. I don't remember the date... Anyway, we had a great 18 holes. The front 9 was really close. I had 41, Meg had 41, Dean had 41 and Tom had 45. However, on the back 9 I was lucky enough to pull away. Here were the scores from the back 9 - I had 36, Meg had 41, Dean had 38 and Tom had 45. So, the totals for the 18 were: Marc 77, Dean 79, Meg 82, and Tom with 90. I'll try to upload some of the photos...

Busy weekend

Wow, did we do a lot this weekend. Friday night we got a take and bake pizza from Januli's downtown and it was really good. We watched the first half of The Great Gatsby. Then on Saturday we played strikeout down at Good Hope. We had a GREAT time. We took stats - and I hope to get them on the site this week. I lost both games, but Meg played really well. It was Me, Tom and Meg against Ryan and Dean. We played two 9 inning games. The Badgers won and the Yankees got knocked out of the playoffs. Then, today we played disc golf before the Packers game and it was a lot of fun. After the game we came home and I climbed on the roof to try to clean the gutters, but it was pretty scary. Now, I have to do some homework, and watch San Diego hopefully beat the Cardinals.

I'll try to put up some photos of this weekend as soon as I can.

Meg's Belly

Well - here it is, what you've all been waiting for: a photo of Meg's belly with the baby! This photo is from last Friday. We spent a nice quiet evening at home and watched the film "The Decline of the American Empire" which we didn't think was all that great, but we've still got the sequel to watch, so we'll see if we like that better. I'm glad we watched it, but I didn't like it as much as East/West, that's for sure.

Henry is kicking a lot and we're looking forward to having him share our lives - outside of Meg's belly. A lot of people have been really nice in giving us things to get us ready. We already have a crib and a changing table and some clothes. We're hoping to go down to Ohio to see Little Mike's family at the beginning of November - let's hope that Meg doesn't have the baby too early!

The Brewers season is now over. They finished strong, but still were several games below last season's numbers. Now I guess I'll just root for the Twins. It will be very interesting to see what happens in the off season. I sure hope they bring cirillo back - he's my favorite player to watch.
