By the way, I forgot to mention that yesterday I shot a 4 over. So, today's 7 over was not a move in the right direction...

Tomorrow perhaps we will go for a bike ride after work, or maybe try out 50 cent bowling!

Tonight's 18

After work, we all went frisbee golfing again, but Meg and Henry only made it to the 10th hole before Henry decided he would rather play on the playground. I shot 7 over par. I missed several putts I should have made. Oh well. It was fun anyway.

I did several tests of the different discs and the Valkrie was more accurate and went farther in both forehand and backhand tests. Interesting!

After golfing, we tried out a chinese food restaurant in town and it was really good. I had a really hot shrimp and snow pea thing and meg had a garlic chicken. The eggrolls were great and so were the crab rangoons.

New Disc Golf Course

We have found a new Disc Golf Course up here in Rhinelander - it is in Sugar Camp, which is about 10 miles northeast of here. It is 18 holes and is a great course. The front nine is fairly wooded and is hilly, where the back nine is more prairie with rolling hills and longer holes. We'll post photos soon of it.

Renee and Aaron got married this last weekend and it was a great time. We are happy for both of them - they are both really great people and I don't know if I've ever seen a better match, as they are both so laid back and nice.

I received an email from my friend Lorie back in Salina - it was really good to hear from her. She has her own blog that I will try to link from my main blog page soon.

Bowling

Renee came up this weekend and it's been a great few days. She came up to help me out with my captivate presentation on Friday. She met the library staff and we had a good time. Today we went bowling and here are a few photos. We bought a grill and cooked out (we bought one yesterday too but we couldn't put it together).
