Interesting weekend

We went to visit Lenore's horses today and then we went out to lunch at a restaurant/bar in Sugar Camp and there were two women who were drunk out of their mind. Turns out (they left their business cards at the bar) they were strippers who were on their way from Appleton to some strip club up north here.

On the way home from lunch we had a blowout in one of the rear tires on the car. I was able to fix it and it made me feel somewhat useful, so that was good. However, now we have to get a new tire - bummer.

Henry and I went fishing tonight on Lake Julia and we had a nice time. Even though we didn't even get a nibble, I now have ideas for two different places to try in the future.

Brewers had a huge first inning today on their way to finally winning a game.

First round at Sugar Camp

Tonight after work we went to Sugar Camp to try to get in a quick round of 18 before the Brewers game, but there were so many people on the course that we decided to just play the back 9. I finished 2 over and it was clear that Henry has improved a lot since last year. He's developing this crazy but effective sidearm throw.

After we played on the playground for a bit we stopped by the fire station to look at the trucks. On our way back to the car, a guy came out of the firehouse and invited us in to look at the equipment. It was really cool. They had a boat with two large propellers on the back that can travel on land or water. It is for rescuing people in lakes. I guess it is owned by Oneida County, but partly owned by Sugar Camp as well.

They had some really neat trucks! They were very nice and they gave Henry a little plastic Fire Chief hat.
