Spring is coming.

With weather like this it seems as if Spring is coming. The snow is melting and there are new smells in the air. This has been a great weekend so far. We took the dog to the beach at Port Washington yesterday and took a two hour walk on the beach and played fetch and had a nice nap on the sand. It was good exercise and helped to remind us that life does exist outside of work and the daily chores of getting life organized.

Next step towards Spring will be the first game of disc golf. Then, stikeout and some basketball and volleyball. I'm looking forward to having another volleyball party this summer once the renovations on the house are completed.

Speaking of the house, it's coming along, albeit slowly. The demolition of the wall in the kitchen is scheduled for the week after next and then it will really get moving. The power upgrade probably won't happen until mid-May, but then it should all be finished. The problem then becomes paying for all of this work!

The Panthers are NCAA bound. The seeds for the tournament should be announed today. I think lots of people are looking forward to a possible UWM - Marquette match since there will never be a regular season matchup between those teams. At least the Badgers have seen the benefits of having a yearly in-state matchup.

Brewers tickets for opening day were sold out the minute they went on sale. Seems a shame that fans who have been around for 30 years are not going to be able to get to the game now that they are becoming popular again. Meg and I might still take the day off and go down and try to purchase tickets from people in the parking lot. Sounds a little scary, but it really would be fun to be there.

Today's itinerary includes finishing up a lot of reading for work and my two classes and then doing a good trash walk outside. The litter is everywhere! It would be fun to play frisbee with Sable, but the ground is so muddy that we might postpone it for a while.

Ok, that's it for now!
