Banjo

When I was in Madison two weeks ago, I went to Spruce Tree Music, which is one of my favorite music stores and purchased a used banjo. I had been thinking of buying a 4-string tenor banjo for a long time since you can tune it like a fiddle. I'm really glad I did - it was really cheap and it sounds great, and indeed it is quite easy to play. I just need to learn the chords, which is something I never really learned on the mandolin. It's nice to have a new inspiration for music - not that we ever needed one!
