Opening Day

Well it was opening day today in Chicago. I couldn't get MLB.com radio to work and I couldn't find it on the radio until I got into my car to go home. It was the 8th inning. I got home just in time to watch the craziness of the 9th and 10th innings - wow what a time to tune in!

How about that start for Gagne? All we need is another loss of confidence in a closer... Will they give Turnbow a shot at closing if Gagne blows another early one? Probably not - with 10 million per year, Gagne will probably be given at least half a season before he can lose his spot as the closer.

It was great to see Gwynn off to a good start! Wow, just to see the Crew in a game that meant something was great. This winter has been so long that knowing the Brewers are playing is going to make the spring come quicker. Especially to beat the Cubs - what a great way to start the season!!!

Long time no hear...

Well it's been a long time since this has been updated and needless to say there have been a lot of changes. Henry is now 15 months old and is walking/running. He is learning new words every day. He likes to say 'da da' and 'doggie' but he has been learning 'hat' and 'light' among other words.

We have also relocated up into the north woods. We now live in Rhinelander - almost 4 hours north of West Bend. My new job is at Nicolet Area Technical College and it has been a very exciting transition. Of course I miss the Colleges, but I will certainly stay in touch - I really met some wonderful people during my time there and those relationships are valuable to me.

There will be more entries in the coming days - I wanted to make sure I made a new post before too long.
