Stats from Game 2 on 10/7/2006

It's been a while, but I am FINALLY getting up the stats from game 2 on October 7th. It turns out this MIGHT be the last game of the year, which would be very sad. we'll be sure to get started early next year. Coming sometime over the winter, I hope to compile the stats for the games that we did record. That will be quite interesting. I think it will reflect the fact that my hitting was in a pretty big slump ever since the accident. I hope I come back in full force next year!

Last two weekends

Last weekend we took a trip down to Dayton Ohio to see the O'Connors, and it was a great time. They really made us feel welcome, and it was the first time we saw all their kids. It was great to see Sarah, Patrick and Steven. Plus, Uncle Tom and Aunt Betsy came over. Mike and Becky really helped us out by giving us a bunch of their baby stuff - we aren't going to have to go out and buy anything! Thanks guys...

The only trouble was going through Chicago. Even though we purchased an I-Pass, we still had some problems - it seems they are always doing construction on 294. Oh well, we made it home safe, and that's what matters.

The previous weekend, we went camping up by the Brule River again and had a wonderful time. I hope Henry likes to go camping. He sure will have his opportunities. Sable had a great time - she is such a good camping dog. She likes to cuddle in the tent at night and she never strays far away. She is a great guide dog when we go on walks. It really is beautiful up there. I hope it will always stay that way. We didn't see too many hunters, so that was another reason we had a good time. Here is a photo of Meg by the fire. She is getting really good at making these fires! We brought up a coffee pot for the first time - wow was that nice. I'm already looking forward to our next trip.
