Litter

yesterday Meg and I did a trash pickup for the West Bend Bautification Committee. We've done many trash walks before, but this was our first organized one. We cleaned up three sections of the city and filled 5+ trash bags. We decided that the following list should be created to show the most common offenders:
1) Mountain Dew
2) Cigarettes and their packs
3) Walmart bags
4) Bud Light
5) Bottled Water - mostly Ice Mountain
6) Sleeves for newspapers

Strikeout

It makes me sad that the wonderful game of strikeout seems to be dying out. Growing up, every schoolyard had the chalk(or paint) outline of a strike zone and it was hard to find an open field to play in - they were always full! Now, kids don't seem to even know what it is. Good thing we are still keeping the spirit alive.

What happened to strikeout? One of the most perfect games ever...

Here is a clip of a game from two weeks ago. The first part is a line drive (not caught on film) off the pitcher. Hilarious. The second part is a miraculous catch that Tom caught of a would've been home run in the Boucher Alley. Nice catch Tom!Strikeoutforweb.wmv
